Legend claims:
The Oviedo Lights - These eerie lights can be seen from a bridge where a
young man killed himself after he lost his love. It is well know to
native Oveidans. And has been seen by many, many people. The mans ghost
has also been seen in the area below the bridge.
For many years, while there was a smaller bridge here, this was a
popular place to park at night. With the car's lights off, an eerie glow
would appear, sometimes described as blue and gaseous, or white with a
yellow glow. It would appear on the shore beyond the bridge, or
sometimes on the bridge itself, or over the river's surface. |
